Refund & Cancellation Policy – WanderNest Holidays
Last Updated: 26 October 2026
1. Introduction
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which cancellations, amendments, and refunds may be requested for bookings made through WanderNest Holidays at https://wandernestholidays.com.
WanderNest Holidays offers access to travel services that may be fulfilled by airlines, hotels, tour operators, transport providers, activity operators, visa service providers, and other third-party suppliers.
Refund eligibility, cancellation charges, and processing timelines may depend on the type of service purchased, the supplier’s rules, the booking conditions disclosed at the time of purchase, and applicable law.
This Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and the terms provided for your specific booking.
2. General Refund Conditions
- Refund requests must be submitted through our official contact channels.
- Customers should provide their booking reference, passenger or lead traveller name, payment details sufficient to identify the transaction, and the reason for the request.
- Refund eligibility will be assessed against the applicable booking terms, supplier rules, and legal requirements.
- Where a supplier must approve or process a refund, the final amount and processing time may depend on that supplier.
- Applicable cancellation charges, supplier penalties, non-refundable components, or disclosed service fees may be deducted where legally permitted and applicable to the booking.
- We will communicate the refund status and any material deductions or delays to the customer as reasonably practicable.
- No provision of this Policy limits any refund, cancellation, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
A booking being marked as cancelled does not necessarily mean that a refund has been approved or completed.
3. Flight Booking Refunds and Cancellations
Flight bookings are subject to the fare rules, cancellation conditions, and policies of the relevant airline and ticket supplier.
A. Customer-Initiated Cancellation
If a customer wishes to cancel a flight, they should contact WanderNest Holidays as soon as possible.
The refundable amount, if any, will be determined after considering:
- Airline fare rules and cancellation penalties.
- Ticket conditions and any applicable restrictions.
- Supplier or booking-platform charges.
- Any service fee disclosed and lawfully applicable to the booking.
Some fares may be non-refundable or may permit only a partial refund.
B. Airline-Initiated Cancellation or Schedule Change
If an airline cancels a flight or makes a significant schedule change, available options may include a refund, rebooking, or another remedy under the airline’s policy and applicable law.
We will assist with the available process within the scope of our service. The applicable airline conditions and legal passenger rights will determine the available remedies.
C. Missed Flights and No-Shows
If a passenger misses a flight or does not appear for departure, refund eligibility will depend on the applicable fare rules, airline policy, and law.
Certain taxes or charges may be refundable in some circumstances. Customers should contact us to check the conditions of their ticket.
D. Ticket Issuance and Confirmation
A payment acknowledgement alone does not establish that a ticket has been issued. Customers should check their booking confirmation and e-ticket details.
If a booking has been paid for but the ticket has not been issued, please contact us promptly. We will verify the booking status and explain the available options, including any applicable refund.
4. Hotel Booking Refunds and Cancellations
Hotel bookings are subject to the cancellation and amendment conditions displayed for the selected property, room, and rate plan.
- Free-cancellation bookings: Cancellation requests received within the stated free-cancellation period may qualify for a refund, subject to the booking terms.
- Non-refundable bookings: These generally do not qualify for a refund following a customer-initiated cancellation, except where required by applicable law or agreed by the supplier.
- Late cancellations and no-shows: Charges may apply according to the property’s conditions.
- Hotel-initiated cancellations: We will assist with the available alternatives or refund process in accordance with the applicable booking terms and law.
Customers should review the cancellation deadline and local time applicable to their reservation before cancelling.
5. Holiday Packages and Tour Bookings
Holiday packages may include several components, such as accommodation, transport, transfers, sightseeing, activities, and other services.
The refund amount may depend on which components have been confirmed, whether suppliers have imposed cancellation penalties, how close the cancellation is to the departure date, and the package-specific conditions disclosed at booking.
Any cancellation schedule or non-refundable component should be communicated in the relevant package terms before purchase.
If WanderNest Holidays or a supplier cancels a package or cannot provide a confirmed service, we will explain the available alternatives and applicable refund rights under the booking terms and law.
6. Activities, Experiences, and Private Charters
Activities, excursions, adventure experiences, transfers, and private charter services may have specific cancellation windows and supplier rules.
Refunds may depend on:
- The cancellation deadline.
- Weather and operational conditions.
- Safety restrictions or regulatory requirements.
- Supplier cancellation decisions.
- Whether the service has already commenced or been provided.
If a supplier cancels an activity or charter, we will communicate the available refund, rescheduling, or alternative arrangements, subject to applicable terms and law.
7. Visa Assistance and Documentation Services
Visa application outcomes are determined by the relevant embassy, consulate, immigration authority, or other competent government body. WanderNest Holidays does not guarantee visa approval.
Where visa-related assistance is requested, the applicable terms should specify which service fees, third-party charges, application fees, and other expenses are refundable or non-refundable.
Government fees or third-party charges already paid may be non-refundable under the relevant provider’s rules. However, any refund due under applicable law or the agreed service terms will be handled accordingly.
A visa refusal does not automatically entitle a customer to a refund of every component of a visa-related service.
8. Hajj, Umrah, and Religious Travel Packages
Hajj, Umrah, and other religious travel packages may involve accommodation, transport, permits, visa-related services, and other supplier arrangements.
Cancellation and refund conditions depend on the package terms, applicable government requirements, the status of each service, and supplier policies.
Before booking, customers should review the specific package’s cancellation schedule and the refund treatment of each major component.
Where arrangements are cancelled or materially changed by a supplier or relevant authority, we will communicate the available options and applicable rights.
9. Payment Errors, Duplicate Payments, and Unsuccessful Bookings
If a customer believes they have been charged twice, paid for an unsuccessful booking, or experienced a payment error, they should contact us with the transaction reference and relevant booking details.
We will verify the payment and booking status with the relevant payment provider and supplier.
Where a duplicate charge or an amount refundable under the applicable terms is confirmed, we will initiate or coordinate the appropriate refund process. The time taken for the amount to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the payment provider and receiving bank.
10. Refund Processing Time
Refund processing time varies depending on the service, supplier, payment method, and financial institution.
Where a refund has been approved, WanderNest Holidays will initiate or coordinate the process as applicable and communicate any known status updates.
The time required for the funds to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the supplier, payment gateway, card issuer, bank, or other payment service provider.
We will not promise a universal refund timeline where the processing period is outside our control. Any applicable statutory deadlines will be followed.
11. Refund Method
Where practicable and legally permitted, refunds will be processed through the original payment method.
If the original method is unavailable or a different method is legally or operationally necessary, we may request additional verification or details before proceeding.
Customers should not share online banking passwords, card PINs, or card security codes to request a refund.
12. Service Fees and Cancellation Charges
Any WanderNest Holidays service fee or cancellation charge applicable to a booking should be disclosed to the customer before purchase or before the relevant charge is incurred, as required by applicable law.
Supplier penalties and third-party charges may also apply where they form part of the disclosed booking conditions.
We will explain the calculation of any applicable deductions when communicating the refund outcome, subject to the information available from the relevant supplier.
13. How to Request a Refund
To request a cancellation or refund:
- Email info@wandernestholidays.com.
- Use the subject line “Refund or Cancellation Request – [Booking Reference]”.
- Include the lead traveller’s name, booking reference, service booked, payment transaction reference if available, and reason for the request.
- Include supporting documents only where necessary, and avoid sending full card details or passwords.
- Wait for confirmation that your request has been received and information about the next steps.
Customers should contact us as soon as possible because supplier cancellation deadlines may be time-sensitive.
14. Disputes and Complaints
If you disagree with a refund decision, please contact us at info@wandernestholidays.com with your booking reference and an explanation of the issue.
We will review the booking conditions, relevant supplier response, payment information, and applicable requirements.
This process does not prevent customers from exercising their rights under applicable consumer protection laws or approaching the relevant authority where appropriate.
15. Policy Updates
WanderNest Holidays may update this Policy to reflect changes in our services, supplier arrangements, payment processes, or legal requirements.
The current version will be published on this page with the latest update date. The conditions applicable to an existing booking will be assessed in accordance with the agreed booking terms and applicable law.
